Title: New from the Netherlands
Post by: wim500 on August 26, 2010, 05:31:31 AM
Hello to all from the Netherlands, my name is Wim. After a break of more than 20 years I started 2 years ago to build the King of the Mississippi of AL. After finishing a small French fishing boat I continued with a Chinese Junk, all static.
It was such a pleasure to built the Mississippi that I want to scratch another riverboat, the Creole Queen from New Orleans. In about 2 years I will start building. A lot of information and pictures I found on the world wide web, but it's confusing sometimes, I found 190 feet as length of the ship, but also 200 feet and it was not mentioned the gangway was included or not. I hope to find some more information here  :).

Welcome to Paddleducks Wim, it's nice to have a Dutch member for a change ;)

I cannot help with your questions on the Creole Queen, but hopefully one of our American members may be able to help?

Regards
Eddy
