Not a model but a beautiful sight. Filmed recently at Loch Katrine.

yes I agree Andy,what a lovely hobby full size must be ,I am lucky at work we have some copies of "The Funnel" from the Steam Boat Ass.
good reading at lunch break only wish I had the money for a full size one..

A very nice little boat.

I haven't been up that way for a while but looking at recent pics of the S.S. Sir Walter Scott what a mess they have made of her with the new superstructure. :(

Reminds me to dig out plans and start a new project :)

Couldn't agree more about the superstructure, they have completely destroyed what were, to me at least, classical lines. I can understand the desire for sheltered accommodation, given our Scottish weather, but they could surely have made more of an effort to design something less like a shoe box.
