Title: boiler and engine for model Waverley
Post by: waverleyjamesieboy on June 16, 2009, 08:38:34 AM
Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help. I'm looking for plans or somewhere I can buy a boiler and engine for my model Waverley. I hope to make it as accurate as possable so hope to get a scotch type boiler and a triple expansion diagonal steam engine. Any help would be great thanks

Full plans for Waverley's engines and boilers are in our Downloads section, thanks to Robert McLuckie...

Robert has built a 1:8 scale model of the Waverley's engineroom, so he's definately the guy to ask for help, but I certainly don;t know of any commercially available engine/boiler so it would be a case of building your own!

Eddy

I think Robert is my cousin...and the waverly engine room is awesome, I remember always wanting Robert and his father to
 fire it up :)
