Title: Unable to edit Posting
Post by: marinemole on May 09, 2009, 08:06:41 PM
Trying to imbed photos in a posting about an event at Rouken Glen. Used image icon and pasted in URL from display of gallery photograph but no photograph in post. Clicking on the image icon does however display the image. Can you advise what I am doing wrong please?
Tried to modify post but got the following message 'Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.' Logging out and then in didn't cure the problem. Again, advice please.

Regards

Andy

To be honest I don't know why the image didn't display Andy, I can only assume it had something to do with the session verification error...

If that error hasn't cleared, it's almost certainly because you have a corrupted file in your browsers cache - try logging out, clear the browser cache, and then login again...

Eddy
Many thanks for such a prompt reply. Logged out and closed down browser but couldn't get back on to the site. Have had problems bringing up the site on a couple of occasions recently. Also suffering time out problems when composing messages.

Tried couple of things regarding my original problem and some interesting, but baffling findings:-
Using Google Chrome so tried Internet Explorer - same problem of unable to modify post even after logging out and back in.
Tried modifying original post in this thread and it let me bring up the modify window! Assuming problem lies with thread I created in events section?
Would it be possible for you to delete the thread and let me start again?

Sorry about the hassle.

Regards

Andy

Hi Andy,

I've deleted the post.... Try again and let me know what happens. As for browsers, the most stable I've found is Mozilla Firefox.

Many thanks Eddy. Have successfully created posting. ;D

Embedded preview pictures rather than full size and seems to work. Also able to bring up the modify window.

Anyway, good to know everything is okay now :)
