Title: Hello from the Missouri Ozarks, USA

Greetings All!  Have been aware of this site for sometime now and thought I would join.  I have modeled to one extent or another all of my life.  I seem to spend more time working on my "fleet" of full-sized boats, but I still manage a model of some sort every year or so.  My latest models have been builder's models of small boats I am considering building full-sized.  I have only scratch built one full-sized small boat, but have rebuilt/restored four.  I'm interested in all types of ships and boats (anything that floats!) but my true love is paddlewheelers of America's inland waterways.  I especially love smaller ferries, towboats, and little "mom and pop" type workboats.  The alligator lumber tows of Canada and the Northern US are just my kind of boat. I live near Branson, Missouri, on Table Rock Lake and the Showboat Branson Belle is docked not far away.  I'm looking forward to researching this site.
