My name is Steve Fox and I have been interested in Sternwheelers my entire adult life.
I just came here for some information and inspiration.

I think you will find this place very inspiring - I meet people from all over the world here, all united by an interest in the most fascinating ships! You will find a lot of information and expertise here and I'm sure you'll be able to teach the European members here about boats with the wheels at the back and not on the sides!

I guess I became interested when I was very young.  My grandfather was a riverboat captain on the Mississippi River in the 1920s.  He was also a woodworker and built several sternwheeler models.  I guess I'm just following in his footsteps.
