Title: Hello from the Isle of Wight!
Post by: PaddleWheel on October 25, 2008, 08:48:49 PM
Hi,

I live on the Isle of Wight and always have done. I love Ships and I love building Model Ships and have a couple of model railways. I'm also the editor of Young Paddle Wheels which is the junior bit of the PSPS. It has a website (www.youngpaddlewheels.org) but I have nearly finished a new one so the current one will go offline on Monday. I go to Switzerland every year for the paddlers and my favourite is the Unterwalden because it has the friendliest crew. I'm also friends with Michael Kaiser, the engineer of PS Krippen in Dresden.

Regards,
Jack

Hi Jack, a great welcome to you from a very friendly site, Its nice to have someone else from PsPs on the site who is involved.I too do voluntary work for Psp as does Bob Golder.. I am a shoppie on Waverley and Balmoral and bob is the Pit Bull of Scottish Branch chasing up late memberships. Hope to hear more of you in future. (I have added a little to your PS Ryde comments). regards, Walter.
