Hi there,
New member from South Carolina (USA). Collector/restorer of antique engines and tractors with a lifelong interest in steam. Currently have two full sized engines (3HP Fairbanks Morse and 1-1/2HP Fuller Johnson, both built in 1922). My colleague has two engines and 16 tractors. A friend in our local tractor club gave us a homebuilt horizontal steam mill engine (1-1/2" bore x 3" stroke) that I now need to build a boiler for. Check our our website www.lcatea.org

Hi Gary, a slightly different arena of interest has brought you here. We'll convert you to the waterways yet ;) I had a look at your club site and found it of interest I too love vintage agricultural machinery. As yet I've still to convince my wife that having a tractor to pull her out of snow drifts would be a good idea ;D
There is plenty to keep you occupied in our venerable Steam section of this foum whereI'm sure you'll find mmany people interested in assisting you on the theoretical aspect of boiler manufacture.
cheers
Jim
