Hi everyone,

I have taken an interest in steam engines and thanks to the boating comunity that is keeping it alive. I have a mechanical back ground and I have a dream to build my own steam engine one day. (not a model but with about 3 horses).

If I can assist anywhere I will do so.

Hello Barry, welcome to the forum. There is a definite increasing interest in the production of steam boats. You may find these sites as interesting as our downloads section for engine and boiler plans is.
