Title: Wingfield Castle
Post by: rmcluckie on September 08, 2008, 07:43:13 AM
Came across these two photos of the Wingfield Castle. They were sent to me a while ago and I think that they were taken in West Hartlepool?? Anyone with any new info about this paddler. Any recent photos and where is she now.

Looks like it's still in Hartlepool...

Quote from: en.wikipedia.org
She is now preserved at the Museum of Hartlepool as a floating exhibit at Jackson Dock, as part of the visitor attraction known as "Hartlepool's Maritime Experience", which also includes HMS Trincomalee.

Wingfield Castle is indeed still at Hartlepool - It's only about 10 miles from where I live, so if anyone wants photos just yell....

Regards
Eddy
