In Model Boats Magazine April 1986 Basil Harley describes in his Marine Miscellany a Kit by Laughing Whale company of Maine a New England Launch. This looks like a nice boat, but it is no longer in production. I am hopping that someone will have some photos of this model or plans. I am particularly interested in the Kitchen Rudder system that was used on this model.
Regards,
Gerald.

Gerald, I don't have a copy of the plans your looking for, but here are some photos of a Kitchen rudder (sometimes called a bucket rudder) on a steam launch on the St Lawrence.
I hope they help?

Hi Eddy,
Thanks for those shots, I hadn't seen that one. I am working on a Midwest Launch and have run into a snag on installing the mechanics and servos to control the buckets. I have the lower end unit made and installed, its just I ran out of space for the servos and control mechanics for the way I had intended to install them. I was looking through some old model boats magazines and came across the article on the New England Launch, but it just shows the finished boat.
Regards,
Gerald
