Hello from the Bristol Channel which doesn't have as many paddlers as it used to.

Welcome to Paddleducks, Andy.

I'm up the road (as it were) in Newport so the Bristol channel is quite close to me. I've not been a paddler for long, so my knowledge is quite limited, but if there is anything I can help you with, then I will.

All the best

Thanks both.

I built a couple 1200:1 Glen Usk & Ravenswood many years ago & don't know where they went - sort of paddled off relatives. Have an uncompleted Cardiff Queen waterline hull at 125:1 & just bought an almost inact Glen Gower kit in balsa 250:1 seemed expensive at £5 for a plan & 5 peices of balsa but it is a good plan.

Sailed as an AB for Campbells in 1963 on Bristol Queen.

A great welcome to you Tony. I also like Campbells fleet- they were all good lookers! I am working as a volunteer on the Balmoral in the Bristol Channel  for a week starting in Saturday 6th September,  , so if you come aboard please look me up, you will find me working the gangway and shop. This invite also goes to any other paddleduck. I like to put names to faces and have a chinwag. Regards, walter.
