Hi PD's.......has the general page font size increased ????? or is it to do with the Chinese....or the Olympics .....or Viagra????? :nahnah......Derek

Seems the same to me, Derek.

Mind you, with my eyes, I always have to double the size of them read them anyway.  ;)

Well thanks Ken........we have an issue called ...VISTA ANTIVIRUS 2008 Security Centre.....& this is causing grief world wide .........Google acknowledges the issue but no fix yet....I am still on XP but have the above glitch .....& an error message every 30 seconds type bug....Derek  :ranting

OK...the Bristol Channel Shipping Forum.....I believe run the same system & their FONT size has not increased....or am I  :offtopic

The forum font size hasn't been increased, though the font on the main menu (at the left of the screen) was increased about a week ago.....  The two items are entirely seperate and changing one does not affect the other, so if you are seeing a larger font it's a problem on your computer or with your host Derek.

Try deleting your browser cache files and see if that cures it....

Hey PD's,

Font size had decreased not too long ago but was restored shortly thereafter. What has increased is download time. It seems that Paddleducks is taking longer to load then it used to, while my other regularly visited sites don't seem to be affected. (I'm talking seconds to load, not minutes like it used to when my old computer was dying.) The weekends are particularly tough, but I attribute this to web and server traffic.

And Eddy, browser cache deletion has no effect in this case. I've tried that before with no appreciable results.

All in all, it's still a great site!  ;D

I hadn't noticed any font-size decrease, or subsequent return to the original.  Perhaps this happened while I was away for a month?
On my Internet Explorer, there is a % button on a lower toolbar.  I never touch it, as 100% is fine for me, but it gives options of 125, 150, 200 or 400%.
