Title: Hello From Florida
Post by: ray5809 on March 05, 2008, 07:39:31 AM
Thanks for letting me join.  I have been fascinated with stern wheel fiver boats since I read Life on the Mississippi many many years ago.  I will be retiring in about 15 years and plan on building a 100'x20' sternwheeler.
I plan to spend the rest of my days in New Orleans in the winter and traveling north during the spring and summer and returning to new Orleans in the winter.
I hope you will be able to give me suggestions as I proceed
Ray

Welcome to Paddleducks Ray,

I'm not sure how much help we can be with a full-sized build, as we are primarily a paddler modeller group. But I'm sure you would get a lot of encouragement, and general advice.

Having said that, it would still be nce to see your progress when you make a start, even if we cannot give some of the help and advice you'll almost certainly need?
