Hi PD's,
OK, I've finally managed to dig Scotland out from beneath the mountains of swarf emanating from the Crewe area of England.... :hehe :hehe
What can I say?...John, a superb piece of work, and I think the latest modifications will pay dividends when you get to run on steam.
The reduction in mass surrounding the cylinders will most certainly reduce the amount of condensation when starting from cold and will also allow the cylinders to expand more evenly when the heat is on.
Ok guy's.... just so you don't all get withdrawal symptoms here (attachments) is the next chapter (part 4) in the Steam and Steam Engines saga... sorry it has been so long, but other workload has prevented me from getting it written.
I hope you find it informative.
Best regards to all.

Enjoy your bedtime reading.....
Regards to all.
