I am Brian Tripp from Chula Vista California, That is near San Diego.
I joined the Paddleducks web-site in July. Really enjoyed looking at
the photos of the Paddler day. I contacted Eric Newton to see if
he had plans available to build an Alligator steam tug like his. he
told me it was his own creation. He sent me a lot of photos with
dimentions and I am in the middle of building a Steam powered
warping tug like his to run at the Mission Bay Boat Pond here
in San Diego. Having great fun and so glad to have found this
web-site.

Good to have you with us Brian, I hope you'll post some pics of your Alligator tug as the build progresses?
Eric Newtons tug performed superbly at our paddler day, so I'm glad he managed to help you out with info etc.
