Well, what to write, I am clearly a new member to paddleducks, which seems an interesting, informative and useful site. I made my first paddle steamer model at the age of about 15 (32 years ago) i don't remember it clearly but remember being quite proud of my efforts. Have also built a couple of wooden model static sailing ships from kits, that was a few years ago as well.
So, now that most of the DIY on my flat is finished i decided building a paddle steamer would be fun and therapeutic. I have just about finalised my decision and will build a scale working model of Waverley (the current one) probably as near as i can of when she was built. Any help on plans etc gratefully received

Hi, i had a look at the hull and plans from metcalf.
if your looking for an easy build you can't go far wrong, however there are mistakes noteably the reverse sheer on the aft. Easy to overcome but a pain if you just parted with cash expecting it to be a scale hull as described(1/48)
