Because of my handicapped daughter, I've had Motability lease hire vehicles for the last 15 years, but I decided it was time for a change. Motability have never been exactly good to deal with in my experience, so I've bought my own car, and said goodbye to them for good...
The car HAD to be large to carry the amount of junk we need, especially on family holidays. I didn't have a huge budget either which sort of limited the choice even further.... After looking at a number of large estates and MPV's there were plenty around, but most of them were in aweful condition or had mileages on them that the space shuttle would be proud of!
So to cut a long story short, here's my new bus..... A Toyota Estima people carrier - Complete with 2.2 Turbo diesel, autobox, and EIGHT seats! All the guys at the boat club have already started to book it for trips to the various boat shows! :) Although it's almost eleven years old, it's only done 60,000 miles and is in immaculate condition, as I hope the photos will show?

Hi Eddy,
Great motor.
Are WE going to Dortmund next year?

I like your way of thinking John! :respect2
Sadly, although I'd love to go, I couldn't leave my wife for that length of time with her epilepsy :(

Hate to tell you this Eddy, you got ripped off. They put the steering wheel on the wrong side. :sorry
Nice looking rig. Should give you lots of good traveling. 11 years old is not old. My wife's car is a 95 with only 44 thousand miles on it. Barely broken in. And it has the steering wheel on the correct side. :hehe

You could be right Bill - I think it must have been a friday afternoon car, coz they seem to have missed one of the doors off as well! ;)

Nice one Eddy, especially the go faster stripes. Diesel at last, think of the savings your fellow club members will have in fuel costs  I.m looking forward to the first trip out. I notice you bought it while I was away

Bob
How many of your boats can you loud into the van?
They will be limiting the number you can bring to the shows.
Happy motoring [Woody]
