I dunno if this is possible but there are some sites that allow you to send a shout which is basically displayed on a MArquee at the top of the page. I dunno if you can select how long its displayed or what but it might be a good idea for people that want to talk to other people on the chat, or have slightly updated their model and not had time to create a boord.
eg. bryalah wheels fitted more on board tommorrow
It's just an idea but it might be a good one, especially for people wanting to uyse the chatroom
