They look really nice. Who makes them?

Sorry my fault  ,
the German company " Elde Modellbau " look at http://www.elde-modellbau.de the owner of Elde Modellbau told me that they will sell not only complete kits they will sell also parts. The details about parts selling are available some weeks after the Dortmund model show.

Gorgeous looking wheels, but at that price I don't think I'll be rushing out to buy a set, unless someone is feeling generous and wants to buy me some? :gift

Thanks for sharing Hans, these look too good to paint up. If I were fortunate enough to own a set I'd have them as a working exhibit on my desk. They are truly a master-piece.
cheers

Are they gold plated- hence the price tag?
Really nice looking wheels though.

Very Very nice wheels Hans but at 1200 euros I can't afford them either :!: Anyway what is a euro :?: I'm still getting £1 NOTES when I'm in Scotland :) Maybe they're worth more that £1 in the rest of Europe :P

An absolutely beautiful piece of model engineering. Elde-Modellbau will be exhibiting on Stand 2002 at Dortmund next month so I'll be taking a close look. Not buying though - even at the current exchange rate of 5 Euros to £1 Scottish! lol. Like Jim I think they're too nice to use - better on display just like the ones in museums.
