Hi All. Here's a photo of Woody's Victoria steam launch, now successfully steaming for 30 minutes on his local lake. Glad you've been successful Woody.

A very nice boat...
I reckon Victoria has to be a very popular name for steam launches because there is/was a Victoria steam launch at Echuca!
Then they removed the steam...dismantled the cover thingy....let her slowly sink...and now I don't know where she is!

From:Alex
This boat is a Krick model with a Krick marine 2 engine , model of proto
type 1912 Simpson,Strikland & co. . It's 42" long and after playing with
propeller, engine runs faster with a counterclockwise prop, information that I
found out after much frustration.
Regards Alex

Hi All,
A question for Bob & Alex, why is Bob posting a shot of Alex's boat and how? Bobs in England and Alex is in Canada, or did one of you move?
-
Ah the marvels of modern technology  especially e-mail. When alex had trouble posting his photo, I did the deed using one he had sent to me. We Victoria drivers must stick together :D . Incidentally here's one of my Victoria on the stocks in the back yard still unsteamed, and another in the process of ballasting and testing at the lake.
