Title: Medway Queen and John H Amos
Post by: lenknight on August 23, 2006, 09:31:35 PM
I feel I must update progress on the Medway Queen paddle steamer. By the end of the month (August 2006) little if anything will be left of this paddler. She is being dismantled on site; all parts saveable are being stored, to incorporate into the new hull. Please view website: www.medwayqueen.co.uk
The John H Amos paddle tug is moving a pace, view: www.johnhamos.org
Thanks for all those that are doing their best raise funds for the Medway Queen, this appreciated beyond bounds, thank you.
Regards Len Knight. :)

Things are obviously moving very quickly on both vessels Len, which is great to hear!

Walter is planning another paddler get together for the end of september, and has already threatened us with a collection tin! :-) Hopefully he can raise a few quid as I'm sure every penny comes in handy.
