Title: Paddleduck collection for Medway Queen.

Hi folks. As you will gather from messges about our paddler day at the Darlington Model Boat Club, Hans (Scotsfriend) traveled here from Switzerland to visit us and to see some of our surviving paddlers including the Medway Queen. Prior to leaving Switzerland He made a collection of cash from his friends and workmates and raised almost £200 pounds as a donation toward the saving of this grand old paddler. This was a superb effort on his part and he deserves great credit for his initiative. He will be handing the money to the Preservation group in the next couple of days. Very well done Hans you deserve allo our praise.
 Should we hold another informal paddler day at the Darlington club, I intend to follow his lead and rattle a collecting can!!!!. regards, Walter.
