Eddie - yes back on line as you can see - I was wondering if the site had been corrupted with the notification of entering an XXXX etc!!
1) is there a spell check function hiding that I cannot see?
2) on Monday evening I was able to upload five snaps of PS Decoy into my newly created photo folder & submitted them & watched the blue curser at the bottom of the page move to the right & see the message to be patient or something for the upload to come on line???? - but nothing appears - is there a simple trick I am missing? - Derek

As I said in my email Derek, just a minor hiccup with our ISP I'm afraid. All servers have problems from time to time, and this was one of those occasions.... Totally out of my control...

No spell check function, but I can add one if you feel it's necessary?

My my, you have been having problems! I don't know why the upload didn't work, but if you still can't get them uploaded, send them to me via email ( admin@paddleducks.co.uk ) and I'll put them up for you...

"posting snaps" - I would prefer to try again myself & understand how it works etc - will get some time this coming Sunday
"spell check" - whilst being a proud Australian direct decendent of the First Fleet of convicts to OZ, sometimes my keyboard skills would suggest that my understanding of the English language is limited - "but if a spell check was available I would use it"

There ya go Derek, a spellchecker has been added to the forum.... We tend to use a lot of specialised vocabulary with model boats though, so until the members add the various words to the dictionary it will throw up words that it doesn't recognise....
But anyway, the basics are there, so give it a try and let me know if there are any problems with it.

Hi PD'S - thanks Eddie I managed to upload a few snaps of PS Decoy, [the issue was the file size were TOO big] however sadly little has progressed since my October 2002 snaps posted in the old PD site, but but her new deck is actually progressing along with a few other items
The spell checker request was principally for checking of typing errors - I notice on a daily basis that I incorrectly type words rather than mis spell them - :!: Derek
