Hi PD's
what do you think about this kind of wheels, they are made from 1.5mm ABS, for bigger wheels we could go up to 3mm. I have the idea to offer parts for this and maybe two other designees.
I will create a design for a riverboat paddlewheel and a rimless paddlewheel from the feathering type. You can order each wheel with the diameter you need. The one on the photo is 75mm or 3" inches but i think every diameter between 50mm and 200mm (2" to 3" ) is possible.
Please let me know what do you think............
Kind regards scotfriend

Hi PD's
Hans told me about these wheels when I met him onboard Waverley last month.... Now none of our members have any excuse for not building a paddler! :-)
What about a wheel with an outer frame (like the Graupner wheels) for use in some of the older tugs Hans? Needn't be feathering....
Can you give an idea of price for the frames etc please?

Another question Hans - Would it be possible to make the wheels so that they could take different numbers of floats (to be specified when ordering)? Say 8,9,10,11,12,13, or 14 (depending on the wheel type).
I realise that may be asking too much, but with the wheel types you suggested in your original message - Plus the frames wheels I asked for in my message above, you would have something suitable for almost every paddler anyone would want to build!

Hi Eddy,
you are right it would be good to have as much as possible different wheels but for the start i think it is enough to have 3 or maybe 5 different wheels. So my suggestion to all they are interested is at this point make a drawing and send it to me so i can find out what do you want and need.
I make the CNC job not myself, i know a modelshop in Germany and he has the machine and can produce and sell the wheels direct to you where ever you are.
Lets see what's coming, kind regards Hans

Hi Eddy,
sorry i forgot to tell you, there is no idea about the price at the moment but it will be cheaper then the Graupner wheels and think to it, you can order the size you need for your model.
Hans.

Would it be possible to produce wheels with an outer frame like this Hans?
If you can an order will be on it's way pretty damed quick! :-)
