What ever happened to the Candon Queen?
-
Yep that's near Ashland. I don't know what happened to the Camden Queen. Last record I have of her is 1992. She wasn't listed in the inland river record book after that.

Hi Joe,
Nice photos, do all of the towboats sit that low in the water?
What is the average freeboard on a 1 to 1 size boat?
Regards,
Gerald

At average the freeboard is around eighteen inches. Some boats when fully loaded and topped off with fuel may only have about eight inches of freeboard. When they are low on fuel and provisions the freeboard can be as much as two feet.
