Title: The first Paddle Wheeler Charlotte Dundas
Post by: Stu Kerrn Sr on May 11, 2006, 03:38:01 AM
Eddie mentioned he would like to build a crane barge. The first working Paddlewheeler was the Charlotte Dundas. I think it would be interesting to build this craft with electric power, that made the paddle work and a replica steam engine turn . This is a basic boat, with two rudders and a central paddle wheel at the rear. I would appreciate any info or feedback on this or just the steam engine detail..
