Tried to post pictures of the City of Eugene. No luck.  How do I do it?

Do you have a website or online photo gallery (one that allows direct linking) that you can put them in?
If so, we'll try to explain how to show them here - it's not difficult  :)
If not, you can put them into the paddleducks gallery, just click on 'photo gallery' on the left of this screen (then log in, probably...) and follow the instructions there - click on 'upload photos'
Hope that's some help  :D

When you make a post and are writing your note, you'll notice a blue bar below that says "add attachment". Where it says file name click on browse and look through your "C" drive for the photo you want to upload. Once you find it click OK then click on submit at bottom.

If you just want the one photo in your post click on submit at bottom. If you want to add another photo click on "add attachment" and repeat finding your photo in your "C" drive. Just keep clicking on "add attachment" to add the photos you want t oyour post. After the last photo click on submit and it will post your post and the photos.

...so you can add an attachment directly to the forum, without it being on a site? I didn't know about that - I had wondered what that part of the reply section was for

If you still have trouble getting photos to upload they may be too big. I think the size limit is 800 x 600 pixels

No limit on the pixel size Joe, but there is a 2Mb maximum for each file. Obviously we'd prefer it if people reduced photos to a reasonable size to save our server space though, so please don't use anywhere near 2Mb for a photo unless it's absolutely necessary!
