Title: Stadt Zurich & Stadt Rapperswill
Post by: Eddy Matthews on April 17, 2006, 08:08:24 PM
Hi all,

Hans Freund (Scotfriend) sent me a load of stuff on the Swiss paddlers Stadt Zurich and it's sistership Stadt Rapperswill the other day. Apart from a whole series of drawings of the boats general arrangement, hull sections, and complete engine drawings, he also included a CD filled with photos of the boats...

The Stadt Rapperswill was in drydock, so Hans managed to get lots of pictures of the parts that are normally totally hidden from view under water. The CD also includes photos of every part of the two boats from the bridge to the engineroom and everything in between...

Included below are just a sample of the photos Hans sent, which have been reduced in size and quality to save webspace... The original photos are digital images which are an average of 2Mb each in size. If anyone wants copies of the original photos, please contact me, but I must insist that you send a blank CD and and that you include enough to cover the cost of postage and packing in UK funds (Pounds Sterling) only please! There are almost 200 images... As I'm unemployed I cannot afford to cover the costs myself :-(
