Post by: Walter Snowdon on February 25, 2005, 08:54:11 AM
Published last year, this book has lots of interesting techniques and ideas on using plasic card for model boats, very well illustrated. The last chapter covers the building of PS  Princess Elizabeth in some detail and which he has now released as a semi kit. Richard has written several articles and some successful plans for MODEL BOATS magazine. ISBN 1 900371 46 4 worth having a look at.

sounds interesting, I know how to use plasticard and foamcard to make model houses etc because that's the otehr area of models I'm interested in but I never thought you could make boats out of it!

You can visit Ricky's website at:

You'll find three nice photos of his "PRINCESS ELIZABETH" paddler with details of the kit and pricing.
