A quick question, what is a good adhesive to fasten brass fittings
to a wood surface?
Thanks

Kim,
When I was building my boat I tried several different things but the best thing I found was a 2 part epoxy. Make sure the the surface of the brass is scratched real well for the adhesive to stick to. I tried slow set cyanoacrylate and it just didn't seem to hold as well as the epoxy. I hope this helps.

Kim.
The glue that I use for sticking almost everything is HAFIXS.
You can get it mail order.
Try here http://www.hafixs.co.uk/
Give the brass a rub with some roughish emery cloth to get through the oxide
layer.
Good luck
