Title: NBR steamer lines
Post by: wsnowdon on June 21, 2005, 05:26:52 AM
Just when you thought I had gone I am back! Paul, as a "Sideways"
thought, have you considered the National Railway Museum York, as
these were RAILWAY steamers.,they might have something. The reason I
say this, my local (Darlington) railway archive has extensive
coverage of railway owned steamers in the North East of England,
Particularly paddle Tugs. Stacks of high quality photos and a few
plans. Bye, Walter.

Yes, Walter... thank you for the suggestion. I checked with them two
years ago and they do have plans for a couple of William Stroudley's
LB & SCR cross-channel paddlers...but NO LINES! The quest continues.

A trip to the Med followed by two weeks aboard "Waverley"!... a
veritable Paddleduck dream! Have a wonderful trip Walter, and look
forward to seeing you when you get back with all your pics.
