In the 2004 January/February issue of Ships in Scale Magazine there is an excellent article on building the Scotch Yoke Drive for stern wheelers. CJ Wires was a retired Marine Engineer and outstanding craftsman and model builder before his passing away just recently. I have several of these drives in boats. Chuck and I were very close friends,the photos in the article, I took for him. With him having been my mentor I probably know more about this drive then anyone.If anyone has questions on building it or its operation, I will gladly provide you with any needed information.
