Hi PD's, I am stumped - opened the case & no connections for + & - so sorry
but I must be a thick mechanical person & have previously acknowledged
little electrical sence, so have ear marked this one to Tony in NZ as he has
mastered the art of connecting & getting the P40 mixer to work
so sorry to bore others but it's like this when I read the schematic on page
2
1) SW1 = double minature motor reversing switches to be used in final set up
& to negate reversal of hard wiring
2) LED = power indicator
3) Conn4 = power output supply to motor 2 [page 1 text says output
connector]
4) Conn3 = power output supply to motor 1 [page 1 text says output
connector]
5) Conn2 = signal output to rudder servo
6) Conn1 = power output to center motor [if used] - so will be used
signal/power output to P56 steam sound generator
7) Wiring connection loom & plug No 1 to receiver channel 1 for rudder
8) Wiring connection loom & plug No 5 to receiver channel 2 for throttle
So I am OK with 1) > 8) inclusive but it's here where it gets good because
this leaves me with
9) a + red wire & a - black wire from my Futuba digital speed control that I
do not know where to plug in
10) the Futuba digital speed controller also has the little three pin
connection wire that I do not know where to plug in
Again I am stumped - Derek

my big vote of appreciation to Tony, after two off line communications Tony posted a few .jpeg snaps of
his setup with his ACTion Kits differential motor mixer & ESR etc - so simple
My real issue in not understanding was the fact I needed two ESC & not one as I had assumed - so have
quite happily ordered two of the same from Craig @ ACTion Kits UK [I declare I am not on the payroll,
but asTony agrees the quality of these pre built kits is supurb]
Tony - as possible assistance to other PD's could you please post your snap of the single motor setup
with all components into your photos folder in PD's [as as you said 1 picture can tell a 1000 words]
