Is there anywhere that I can get infromation,
photos/drawings/deck plans etc of any of the 4 side wheel
ferrys that used to be used on the Firth of Fourth between North
and South Queens Ferry before they built the road bridge?
The names of the vessels are:-
Queen Margaret built 1934
Robert the Bruce 1934
Mary Queen of Scots 1949
Sir William Wallace 1956
I would like to attempt to build a model of one.
I have travelled on all 4 as a child-passenger.
Any photographs that I have come across do not show much
detail of the hull/superstructure.
Any help would be most usefull
Thanks in advance

The National Maritime Museum at Greenwich, London have the Denny collection
and would have the original plans. Brief details are in one of the for
volumes of "The Denny List", now out of print.
