Randy & Brett - I used a slightly different approach after viewing Stuarts [Reliant] wheels
so I contacted a local industrial engraver and provided the template in AutoCAD LT on disc
and the results machined from 1.5 mm brass plate by some sort of NC controlled industrial
pantograph machine - so four 110 mm diameter wheels as shown in my pics of Decoy cost
a similar $AUD65 - the outer pins shown are actually 1/16" diameter brass split pins and
are all soft soldered - my proposed construction will use another eighty of the same split
pins to hold the blades and forty 1/16" brass rod cross side supports and again all soft
soldered - Derek

yep it is a superb site Randy - when I saw the construction method as used by
Stuart for his Reliant, I wanted to follow along similar lines but Stuart manufactured
his four wheel disks himself!!!!
Now I know $'s don't grow on trees, but I had to balance out the cost of $AUD65 to
the time for me to attempt to make them and came to the conclusion my hourly
rate would be in the order of $1.50/hour
