Post by: wsnowdon on June 19, 2005, 03:54:35 AM
Hi Paul, consider it done! I will visit York next week. From memory,
there are only three paddle steamers in the collection. I will visit
next week and forward photos to you. Now for something new and
potentialy very usefull. Wirral library archive have complete listing
and details plus some plans of all vessels built by Cammel-Lairds
between 1848 and 1943. Their archive service is very cheap, for
example A0 sze copy plans for only £8 sterling. A full list of the
vessels can be found on their web site www.wirral-
libraries.net/archives/index.htm Worth looking at. Walter.
