Hello there Paddleducks,
Pwebster@f............ I guess as you are
producing a model of the Pevensey you would be a good source of
information, where can one obtain a set of working drawings for this
vessel?...............Dai Powell

Dai.
Check out the website of Float a Boat at www.floataboat.com.au I believe he is a
naval architect and if you download his plans list you will see he has great range of
Australian Paddlesteamers at a scale of 1/24. These are a bit bigger than I am building
at present as space is getting a bit tight but plans are afoot to solve this problem.
I hope this info is of help.

Dia,
I obtained my (full scale approx 53in LWL) plans from Port of Echuca Shop, they offer plans
of P.S Pevensey & P.S Alexanda Abuthnot, BUT due to lack of interest !!
they only have plastic coated SMALL versions ( A3 I think ) for framing purposes.
( I was VERY lucky to be able to obtain my copies last year )
Also try B2 Model Marine (site) as they offer numerous plans at various scales
As far as Float-a-boat goes , Adrian Brewer draws a very nice set of plans indeed
and he is a well respected (worldwide) designer of MODEL RACING YACHTS.
I've seen a set of (one) of his paddleboat plans recently and they were really good.
P.S You cant go past a Aussie SideWheel Paddler, easy to make, perform well
AND you can be "rough around the edges" , because the fullsized ones are also !!
Cheers,
Brett

Hi there Brett,
I didn't know there were plans available at the Eucha
shop, I didn't see any reference to a shop on their website a set at
A3 size would be great ( I only plan on building to 3 foot) I could
get them "blown up" to give the size I need if they have the lines
and profiles, and a deck plan, how can I get a set? thaks for your
help............Dai Powell
