![]() Paddleducks would like to help with the restoration of the historic vessel Medway Queen, and it is with this intention that we ask you to consider making a donation to help with the costs involved. The Paddle Steamer Medway Queen is the last Estuary Paddler left in the UK, built in 1924 for the New Medway Steam Packet Company Ltd. In her war service she served as a Minesweeper, and also rescued 7,000 men at Dunkirk. This ship is historical in many aspects, recognition of her condition is of great importance. She has earned the nickname of: WE MUST NOT LET HER DOWN NOW. Donations, small or large, all add up at the end of the day to help us to achieve our objective, to restore the Medway Queen to her former glory.
