Eddy,
I have resent the information via the email address you suggested.
Hopefully you get it ok this time.
Peter.
Eddy Matthews:
Thanks to Peter I've now found out about the paddler engine I was asking about. Distributed by Mike Mayhew of Waverley Models in Sommerset.
I'm sure MMI magazine won't mind me posting the following scan from their magazine as it's of interest to all paddler modellers.
Walter Snowdon:
Last monday 12th June I had the distinct pleasure of downing a few jars of real ale with Mike Mayhew and visiting his factory/workshop- WOW!!! I saw his new paddler engine in the flesh- its a beauty. A large oscillator twin designed from the outset as an easy to use robust (looks unbreakable engine which would push a tug of about 4 foot or a clyde paddler of about 6 foot (my figures). It looks a winner. Mike says they will probably produce a smaller version. He also had a smaller set of his brass paddle wheel kit which would be suitable for mini-vap size models. I photographed the engine and wheels, so when I can get them printed I will pass them to Eddy to see if they can be posted. If you are out there Mike, post some details of your gear for us!. Regards, Walter.
