REBUILDING THE POLISH SIDEWHEELER KRAKUS CARD KIT.
« on: February 28, 2006, 06:15:21 AM »
Hi folks, came across this fascinating site yesterday, on updating the old card kit  of the sidewheeler KRAKUS which sailed Polish waters for many years. It  details on how to update old card kits with a blow by blow well illustrated build of the kit. Many of the techniques could be used in wood or plastc card  substituted for paper. I have often advocated the use of card kits as a substiute for plans in building working models and this site might give you a few ideas. There is also a link to the authors other site on which there is a free download of a well detailed modern coastal trader. Hope you find it interesting. Site address is  http://home.mindspring.com/~carapace/    Regards, Walter
Blessed are the "cracked" -for they let in the light for the rest of us.
