I am looking for plans for a model British Paddlewheel Tugboat from
the late 1800s to early 1900 for my dad....he loves to build boats
and has a facination for the paddlewheel tug...he has been looking
for a while but does not have access to the internet...I can't
believe I found this site...I am excited because I am the recipitant
of a lot of his models...
Thank you in advance for any information you can give me.

Nancy.
Good to hear that your father is interested in British paddle tugs. Does he
build display or working models?
If you can get hold of a copy of "British Steam Tugs" by P.N.Thomas (ISBN
0.905184 07 6) I think your father will find everything he needs to know
about British tugs. There are many plans from which he could build models.
In England the book costs about GBP25.00
Incidentally the "Eppleton Hall", a classic British steam paddle tug, is
presently tied up on the west coast of USA in San Francisco.
Do let us know what he decides to build.
Good luck.
David
