3D printer Feathering wheel

(1/1)

PJ:
Hi there, Paddleducks!
It's been a long time since I visited and so pleased to see Eddy, Paddleducks and old friends are alive and well. I'm hoping someone here may be able to answer my question.
I've ordered a 3D printer and my first project is to build (non-operating) feathering wheels for three 1/96 static display mode sidewheelers. "Paris", "Worthing Belle", and "Jumna".

Is there someone in the forum who's exprienced with 3D printing and can point me in the right direction as this is my first venture into it.
Cheers
PJ

Hello,

  3d printing's only half the battle - how's your 3d CAD?

Alternative to designing your own wheel, you could try one of the 3d model libraries out there:

The prusa website is good: https://www.printables.com/model/205169-feathering-paddlewheel

Keep your print-bed clean and your filament as dehumidified as possible - good luck with it!
